NOMINATION
The Museum Kunst der Westküste, designed by Sunder-Plassmann Architects, is nominated for the German architectural prize BDA Große Nike 2010.
MUNCH ON TOUR
The Museum Kunst der Westküste loans out Edvard Munchs Fisherman by the Water (1881) to partner museums. The painting was shown in the exhibition Edvard Munch and the Anti-Scream (19 Feb - 8 Aug 2010) at the Pinacotèque de Paris, and now it travels on to Kunsthal Rotterdam.
